PAYMENT AND SUBSCRIPTION POLICY FOR GREENMONDAYTV


1. INTRODUCTION

This Payment and Subscription Policy governs all financial transactions for GreenmondayTV services accessed through mygmtv.online and related platforms. This policy is designed to comply with Ugandan financial regulations, tax requirements, and consumer protection laws.


2. SUPPORTED PAYMENT METHODS

2.1 Mobile Money (Primary Method):

MTN Mobile Money: Dial *165# or use MTN MoMo app

Airtel Money: Dial *185# or use Airtel Money app

Africell Money: Dial *144# or use Africell Money app

Minimum Transaction: UGX 1,000

Maximum Transaction: UGX 7,000,000 per transaction (as per Bank of Uganda limits)

2.2 Card Payments:

Visa Cards: Credit and Debit cards

Mastercard: Credit and Debit cards

American Express: Available for international customers

Processing: Through licensed Payment Service Providers (PSPs)

2.3 Bank Transfers:

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT): Available for annual subscriptions

Bank Account Details: Provided upon request for corporate accounts

Processing Time: 1-3 business days

2.4 Digital Wallets:

PayPal: For international customers

Stripe: Secure card processing

Apple Pay: iOS users

3. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

3.1 Personal Plans:

Basic Plan: UGX 15,000/month (SD quality, 1 device)

Standard Plan: UGX 25,000/month (HD quality, 2 devices)

Premium Plan: UGX 35,000/month (4K quality, 4 devices)

3.2 Student Plans (With valid student ID):

Student Basic: UGX 10,000/month (SD quality, 1 device)

Student Premium: UGX 20,000/month (HD quality, 2 devices)

3.3 Family Plans:

Family Standard: UGX 45,000/month (HD quality, 6 devices)

Family Premium: UGX 60,000/month (4K quality, 8 devices)

3.4 Corporate/Business Plans:

Small Business: UGX 150,000/month (10 devices, business content)

Enterprise: Custom pricing (unlimited devices, dedicated support)

3.5 Annual Subscriptions (15% Discount):

Basic Annual: UGX 153,000/year

Standard Annual: UGX 255,000/year

Premium Annual: UGX 357,000/year


4. TAX COMPLIANCE

4.1 Value Added Tax (VAT):

VAT Rate: 18% on all digital services (as per Uganda VAT Act)

VAT Registration: GreenmondayTV is registered with URA (VAT No: [Your VAT Number])

Tax Invoices: Provided for all transactions

International Customers: VAT applied based on customer location

4.2 Digital Services Tax (DST):

DST Rate: 5% on digital services (effective July 1, 2023)

Transition to Withholding Tax: 15% withholding tax effective July 1, 2025

Compliance: Full compliance with Uganda Revenue Authority requirements

4.3 Withholding Tax:

For Non-Residents: 15% final withholding tax on digital services income

For Residents: Standard withholding tax rates apply where applicable


5. BILLING CYCLES

5.1 Monthly Subscriptions:

Billing Date: Same date each month as initial subscription

Grace Period: 3 days after due date

Suspension: After 7 days of non-payment

5.2 Annual Subscriptions:

Billing Date: Anniversary of initial subscription

Renewal Notice: 30 days before expiration

Grace Period: 7 days after expiration date

5.3 Prorated Billing:

Mid-Month Sign-ups: Full month charged regardless of start date

Plan Changes: Prorated charges applied immediately


6. AUTO-RENEWAL POLICY

6.1 Automatic Renewal:

Default Setting: Auto-renewal enabled for all subscriptions

Notification: 7 days before renewal via email/SMS

Modification: Can be disabled in account settings

6.2 Price Changes:

Notice Period: 30 days advance notice for price increases

Acceptance: Continued use constitutes acceptance of new prices

Cancellation: Users can cancel before price changes take effect

6.3 Failed Renewals:

Retry Attempts: 3 attempts over 7 days

Payment Method: Users can update payment information

Service Suspension: After final failed attempt


7. COOLING-OFF PERIOD

7.1 Right to Cancel:

Period: 14 days from subscription date (Consumer Protection Act 2019)

Refund: Full refund if service unused or minimal usage

Request Method: Email, phone, or online portal

7.2 Partial Usage:

Cooling-off Period: Still applicable with reduced refund

Calculation: Pro-rata based on usage period

Processing: Within 7 days of request


8. REFUND POLICY

8.1 Eligible Refunds:

Service Outages: Pro-rata refund for extended downtime (>24 hours)

Billing Errors: Full refund for incorrect charges

Cooling-off Period: As specified in Section 7

Content Issues: Refund for content not as advertised

8.2 Non-Refundable Situations:

Change of Mind: After cooling-off period

Account Violations: Terms of Use violations

Promotional Subscriptions: Unless specified otherwise

8.3 Refund Processing:

Mobile Money: 3-5 business days

Card Payments: 5-10 business days

Bank Transfers: 7-14 business days


9. FAILED PAYMENTS

9.1 Common Causes:

Insufficient Funds: Most common with mobile money

Network Issues: Temporary mobile money network problems

Card Expiry: Expired debit/credit cards

Bank Restrictions: International transaction limits

9.2 Resolution Steps:

Retry Payment: After 30 minutes for network issues

Update Information: Refresh payment details

Contact Support: Available 24/7 for assistance

Alternative Methods: Switch to different payment option


10. PAYMENT SECURITY

10.1 Security Measures:

PCI DSS Compliance: All card payments processed securely

Encryption: 256-bit SSL encryption for all transactions

Tokenization: Payment details never stored in full

Fraud Detection: Real-time monitoring of suspicious activities

10.2 User Responsibilities:

Confidentiality: Keep payment details secure

Reporting: Report suspicious transactions immediately

11. CURRENCY AND EXCHANGE RATES

11.1 Primary Currency:

Uganda Shillings (UGX): All prices displayed in UGX
